Fish with our pals from Arkansas for a few days and had great number of fish in the boat. Despite the cooler then normal temps for Arkansas this time of year the fishing was up and down. The White River is running much colder then normal and the fish are still in winter mode. The surface action was no were to be found on the White but the nymph fishing was right on point. Most of the fishing was done with zebra midges and caddis larvas. All seven of our guest had a good day on the White, but the fishing was not up to par for this most spectacular river. Day two found us down on the Norfork with better water conditions and some bugs on the surface. Everyone had double digit day with fish with some fat rainbows making the day fun. One of our guest even hit the quadfecta day with a cutthroat rainbow brown trout and brookie. I just missed the quadfecta myself not able to get that cutthroat in the boat. I always want to thank Larry Babin, Paul Bobby
and Dominic Zametto for there expert knowledge on these river. They make it look easy some times. Have a good spring and I will see you on the run.
Steve
