Spring means Central PA and its time to start thinking of mayflies and midges. Taking a few trips out to the Cumberland Valley this spring, with a private stream on the menu and a trip to historical limestone streams of carlisle. The fishing season started out with early season action and the hatch way a head of schedule. This private stretch of water was the first of my scheduled adventures and for the first time this spring started out with rain falling and slowing the dry fly action down to a minimum. Never falls though streamers and high sticking prevailed and rainy morning turned into a double digit day for my guest. Some fantastic size to all of the fish caught and well worth the early morning rain. The next trip schedule will be to Carlisle's historic fisheries and i cant wait to get on the run....

Have a great day!!
